Dermatology
皮膚科 (hifuka)
Dermatology (皮膚科, hifuka) is the specialty concerned with diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Common conditions treated include atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, urticaria (hives), fungal infections, and skin cancer. Japanese dermatology clinics are plentiful, often do not require referrals, and have short wait times compared to other specialties.
Dermatology clinics in Japan may also provide cosmetic treatments; confirm you are attending a medical dermatology visit when booking.
