Reporting Corrections

This archive covers health system navigation, administrative forms, and medical reference material for Japan. Accuracy matters here. If you find a factual error — outdated insurance rules, a wrong clinic classification, a misattributed statistic — please report it. We take corrections seriously and apply them with a revision note on the affected page.

When reporting an error, it is helpful to include:

• The URL of the page that contains the error
• A brief description of what is wrong
• A link or citation to the authoritative source that contradicts it

We do not publish unverified corrections. All corrections are checked against primary sources (typically MHLW, WHO, or official prefecture portals) before being applied.

Broken or Redirected Links

External links to government and institutional sources can go stale when agencies restructure their sites. If an outbound link on this site returns a 404 or redirects somewhere unexpected, please note the URL of the page where you found it and the destination link that is broken. We verify external links on a quarterly schedule but appreciate reports that speed up the process.

Accessibility Issues

This site is a reference archive, not an active health service. We are not able to answer individual medical questions, provide advice on specific clinical situations, or assist with locating current medical providers or appointments in Japan.

For medical emergencies in Japan, dial 119 (ambulance and fire) or 110 (police). For non-emergency medical guidance, contact the nearest public health center (保健所) or a hospital that offers foreign-language consultation services.
