Tottori 鳥取県
Tottori Prefecture is Japan's least populous prefecture, situated on the San'in coast of the Sea of Japan. It is known for the Tottori Sand Dunes, pear farming, and a strong maritime tradition. Foreign residents include technical training workers in agriculture and fisheries, and a small international community concentrated in Tottori and Yonago cities.

Public health center (保健所)
Tottori Prefecture operates public health centers (保健所, hokenjo) across its municipalities. Public health centers manage infectious disease surveillance, maternal and child health programs, and mental health consultation.
