Shizuoka 静岡県
Shizuoka Prefecture stretches along the Pacific coast between Kanagawa and Aichi, encompassing Mt. Fuji's eastern slopes, the Izu Peninsula, and the Hamamatsu industrial zone. Public health center (保健所)
Shizuoka Prefecture operates public health centers (保健所, hokenjo) across its municipalities. Public health centers manage infectious disease surveillance, maternal and child health programs, and mental health consultation.
