Fukui 福井県
Fukui Prefecture lies on the Sea of Japan coast between Ishikawa and Kyoto, known for eyewear manufacturing centered on Sabae City, dinosaur fossil discoveries, and the Eiheiji Zen temple complex. Public health center (保健所)
Fukui Prefecture operates public health centers (保健所, hokenjo) across its municipalities. Public health centers manage infectious disease surveillance, maternal and child health programs, and mental health consultation.
