アージェントケアセンター（緊急外来） (ājentokeasentā (kinkyū gairai))

An urgent care center is a walk-in medical facility for conditions that need prompt attention but are not life-threatening emergencies. Common reasons to visit include minor fractures, sprains, infections, fever, and minor wounds. Urgent care centers are open beyond regular office hours, often evenings and weekends, and typically cost significantly less than emergency rooms. Most accept insurance; copays usually range from $25–$75 in-network. They are not appropriate for chest pain, stroke symptoms, or severe injuries.

Choosing urgent care over the ER for non-emergencies is a key cost-saving strategy in the US health system.
